Isn't that just pretty standard to run latex multiple times. I remember from ye oldie times that in order to get bibtex and indexes to run correctly it was something like latex, bibtex, latex and finally latex.
I assume it is okay. Once to find all elements for index, then build index and finally compile with correct references.
I may be wrong - it is almost 10 years since I did any latex last 🤣

Don't worry, LaTeX hasn't changed in the last 10 years.
When run make booklet. The index page will not be include.
I don't if there is any smart way :thinking:. So we don't compile the latex 2 times
