Documentation please #16

Hey there, i'm looking to incorporate this into my MIT Racecar based rover. This was a problem with MIT Racecar too - basically no documentation. If not too much trouble - some algorithm description documentation, documentation about intended purpose of various classes / files, would go a long way to help people like me be able to efficiently pick up the project and run with it.

More generally - my opinion is that this implementation seems really "heavy" - for myself, i'm interested in seeing how much i can strip out & post up some helpful example.

In any case - thanks for the great resource - i really appreciate it & would love to help out if i can.

wow - turns out i have a f1tenth car lol! Maybe a adding a link to this in Readme.md would be good too: https://f1tenth.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started/firmware/firmware_vesc.html
