Describe the bug Cell coloring fails on macOS CI

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Expected behavior

System Information:

OS: macOS
GPU and GPU driver: reproduced in a VM and in the github image only, not on bare metal

F3D Information Paste the content of f3d --version: >2.0

Seems to work fine here

Macos arm (VTK 9.3 and VTK master give the same result): sphere

Linux: sphere

Turns out to be CI/VM specific
