Mac O/S Funcube: could not start sample source #1107

I try to use sdrangle with funcube pro+. I am running sdrangel on a iMac with Catalina 10.15.7 and installed it with MacPorts,

When I start up SDRangel it recognizes the Funcube. But when I start the play button, I got an error message "Could not start sample source" without any further comment. After pushing play but I expected to receive a waterfall with radio signals.

The funcube pro+ works fine with other sdr-software so funcube is not mallfunctioning. Unfortunately I have no other sdr to test.

Are there driver arguments missing? Which should I implement?

I tried to reset the dongle by pulling out of the slot and reinstalled it without result.

There after I removed SDRangel from my computer and reinstalled it, without result.

The machine has 16 GB ram.
