I was tested on sdrangel-7.21.1-win64. I accidentally clicked on the "Settings" tab during recording - FIle Sink. It looks like this action means stop recording - finally my .sdriq file has 6 seconds instead of 16.
Steps to reproduce - You can also see the video:
RemoteTCPInput - add channel File Sink
click the button Open File and put test as a name
click the button Start/Stop recording (the button now is red)
after 6 seconds click Settings and click again
right top corner, timer reset, is 00:00:00
Start/Stop recording is still red
click the button stop recording
add RX Device - FileInput
open test file
the file is only 6 seconds and 12 MB, it should be 15 seconds

BTW, After adding
