I have started putting together an application for GSoC. The best thing people can do to help is to improve (and add) ideas in this issue tracker.

Just FYI - Deadline for applications is actually February 7, 2019 at 07:00 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

I believe we have put in an application. If we are not successful in our application we will look at participating via an organisation like TimVideos or FOSSi Foundation (assuming they are accepted).
