import diaspora history in to wordpress #5

I would like to have possibility to import already existing Diaspora post in to Wordpress, and then continue to post to Diaspora by using diaposter.

Thus two streams may be in sync.

Also, Diaspora navigation is not as convenient as WP navigation. I can much easier find my own posts I need by using WP rather than Diaspora.

Thank you.

To clarify, you are asking for a similar thing as "Sync comments from Diaspora*" but instead of comments, you want to import the full post, correct?

I would like to use this plugin in order to post from WP do Diaspora, and use WP as backend. However, I already have a huge history on Diaspora. In order to have same posts in WP and Diaspora, I would like to sync all the posts with comments from Diaspora to WP first, and then start to write new posts in WP and crosspost them to Diaspora.

Otherwise I would have only new posts in WP. If I'd like to remove some old post, I have to go to find it on Diaspora. It's hard. With wordpress it's much easier.

Okay, I think I understand what you mean. I started the other way (with poosts on WordPress and not Diaspora). I can't promise this code will get written quickly but it is a good idea and I can do it when I find the time/resources to do so.

thank you. i saw you have numerous plugins and do a lot of work and i appreciate this.

do you think you can find time/resources for that enhancement? (:

Sadly, no. I prioritize work based on what I personally need, the number of people who need and make their need for a capability known to me, and if necessary, how much material support (shelter, food, donations, etc.) people have already donated to me to support the previous two cases, in that order. This seems very far down on the list. The only way it is likely to happen is if someone else writes a patch. I would very happily integrate such a patch to this project.
