Problem trying to identify/confirm a person you've blocked out of safety #76

I had no choice but to unblock the target person in order to identify them properly and submit my story to the database. I feel that this puts me and potentially others at risk having to do that.

I don't know if this has been discussed before but I'm in a hurry and can't really look and comb through every thread to find out if this issue's been reviewed. But either way, I felt I had to let you know that I think this is a big problem and while I do understand it is for confirmation purposes, it also undermines the safety of the person submitting.

If there's a way to submit a user without having to unblock them first, that would be great. Please take this into consideration. Thank you.

It is already possible to submit a user without having to unblock them first. Please see the FAQ specifically addressing this:

You can share information about any person who has a Facebook profile. This includes users who have blocked you and users you have blocked.
