It would also be thinkable to let away the multitouch input and directly Input from a MIDI Keyboard.

The visual output could be differed too, so that with a beamer the consonances could be displayed next to the input keys. That would not be possible with a continuous scale of course (except with a Continuum Fingerboard http://www.cerlsoundgroup.org/Continuum/).

MIDI Input is now supported and also Sustain Pedal input
