Properly implement the FriendsOfSymfony fork with fixes for php8.x as a composer package.

Many of the fixes were merged earlier but it is still not running as a composer package, thus missing updates
Get rid of the legacy Symfony1 code (the non-package version)
Take care of various hacks I did to the Symfony form handling (very old code)
