Auto Save Option #359

I would like to request an auto save feature, or even a means to trigger a save of all open documents from the command line to be run via cron.

I frequently power off my machine having failed to save my files. Stupid I know. Some means to have the documents written to disk (then syncthing can take a copy) would save me lost time re-researching the lost work.

Sometimes I have to logoff and login to clear a problem unrelated to Market but forget to save changes in Marker. Let me second @jacob on this request. An option to enable auto save would be really welcome.

I would really love this feature as well for the exact same reason. happy to contribute in helping (financially or programming).

I believe ghost writer has an excellent auto-save feature perhaps we could implement something similar. Typora markdown has the best file recovery and auto save but there code is proprietary.
