Sometimes diff is very slow

The extension is excellent, but sometimes it takes forever to do the diff, and it doesn't actually finish.

Diff: 2.1.2 Visual Studio Code: 1.92.2 Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Do you have a way for me to reproduce this problem?
