the back end seems to work OK but the front end doesn't seem to pass in the multiple selections!
The branch with this fix is here; we need the UI to be fixed first before we can release this change though https://github.com/fabric8io/fabric8-generator/tree/import-many
however we're blocked on this UI issue first https://github.com/fabric8io/fabric8-ui/issues/1581
