it looks like there's already hubot support! https://github.com/RocketChat/hubot-rocketchat

so it'd be nice to include it into the Fabric8 DevOps platform as a possible chat implementation

+1 for rocketchat support. It's the best/closest open source "slack clone" that I've found so far. Been using it in production for over a year with 250+ people in our firm (3/4 of which aren't "tech people").
