To summarize, the two main things which I think should be changed / added:

• Use two IncrementalBuilder, one for compiling and one for the resources
• Be careful by don't doing rebuilds when already a rebuild is running, so decouple the rebuild 'jobs' by a queue which is filled by the IncrementalFileBuilder with jobs and picked up by a dedicated 'RebuildThread'

@rhuss - i have not done the incremental build queuing and threading - will do that as separate commit and send a pull as that needs some careful implementation
