11 years ago +1. AFAIR there's a bugzilla bug asking for separated calendar activation in each view. (Lightning's UI is indeed poor.)
To speed year view up, i'd add a small dialog, listing uncached remote calendars and recommending the user to switch on caching for these. Bad idea?
The Add-On is great for a big-scale overview of appointments. In my case I'm already seperating my events in multiple calendars (private, work, invites, meetings, ...). Some of them are irrelavant in the year overview, so I would like to disable them by default from the view (Which would also benefit to speedup the slow rendering).
Please add an option to disable some calendars by default when entering year view.
