Documentation of ligatures #132

Open Tekl opened 5 years ago

I want to get the most of Pragmata Pro ;-), is there a documentation of all ligatures? I know about Markdown checkboxes and the [INFO] stuff, but is there more I can use for my documents?

fabrizioschiavi commented 5 years ago

Thanks for asking @Tekl ! In Handbook.rtf > OpenType features > calt you can find all the ligatures actually available. Here you can find the complete list of the 193 ligatures

Tekl commented 5 years ago

Thanks, but the list seems not to be complete, as stuff like [BUG] is missing there. I thought there are strings to access some of the icons in U+F000.

You’ve right! I’ll fix it soon. Thanks! As complete reference of the Unicode Private Area like U+F000 there is already All_chars.txt

Tekl commented 5 years ago

Okay, thanks. I thought there are some ligatures for the private symbols like :eject: for U+F052, for U-F004 or :crop: for U+F1205. So documents using the private icons are readable without Pragmata Pro. ;-)

If this is not possible I would like to have searchable documentation with descriptions for every symbol. So search for "magent" will lead me to U+F076.
