It seems an interesting mix. I don't understand exactly which part is set in Braille and which other is set in Box Elements. Do you have an idea?
According to this draft document, https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2021/21235r-terminals-supplement.pdf the "Symbols for Legacy Computing Supplement" coming in Unicode 16.0 (later this year, usually September-ish) will contain dedicated solid-fill characters for octant drawing (among a lot of other things), which will eventually allow applications to avoid repurposing braille for that.
I have noticed that all the utilisation of braille glyphs is for rendering textart.
Fonts should switch to rendering them as box elements. Thank you for your consideration.
