verifying ..... #16

Trying to launch MacMiner.app and getting the popup: Verifying "MacMiner.app"

it sits there but does nothing! Any idea? Thx

Best to try downloading it again first and seeing whether that fixes the issue. But if you can't make it work and it definitely came from the releases page of this Github project you can use the workaround

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MacMiner.app

which will make it skip verification.

Please forgive me Fab Panda,

I'm interested in use MacMiner. I admit that I do not trust amazon web services 100%.

I ask, what is the SHA-256 for the latest release. Then I can check the file at the terminal using the command: shasum -a 256
