[ ] Follow Quickstart instructions - the below is notes on that process and won’t make sense without it.
[ ] While creating service account, make sure you download the JSON file with the credentials - its essential later on
[ ] To set the environment variable, run the code they give you on the command line (export GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS="[PATH]”) Where PATH is the path to the JSON file you downloaded
[ ] You should then be authenticated running google platform services
[ ] Copy the sample dialogflow code from the node.js docs (link above)
[ ] Change projectId to the project id in the code to the “project_id” that is in the JSON file
[ ] change sessionId to the “client_id” that is in the JSON file
[ ] Make sure there is an Agent set up in dialog flow under the project_id you have in the JSON
[ ] try running that file (node [filename]) - you should connect!
