How to tackle the environmental impact of fashion by extending the life cycle of clothing #9

The fashion industry is the second biggest producer of carbon emissions globally. It's estimated that up to 80% of our wardrobes goes unworn - only about 20% of our clothes we actually wear regularly, while the rest remain dormant in our wardrobe and then end up in landfill or overloading charity shops and developing countries (which whilst obviously have benefits do now cause issues as well).

This is also something that naturally has been made worse with fast fashion culture.

Along with solutions such as more sustainable materials, extending the life cycle of clothing by trading them (and other people the chance to repair them) is seen by experts as being a big way we can help tackle these issues.

It'd be great to find a way we can make it easy for friends and similar-styled people to freely share clothes, getting to 'build out' their wardrobe without taking up more space in their flat AND helping tackle the environmental impact of fashion.
