Describe the problem you'd like to solve As the trend towards plantbased eating continues one does no longer have to be a hippie or strict vegan to choose oat milk over cow milk. Most food companies are following this trend to mix plants into foods we usually would not expect them in and the predictions show this trend is about to continue.
The app would show users different foods based on 'craving categories' e.g. I crave mac and cheese in a tinder style interface - one would then see a recipe that might not be an exact plant based equivalent but will likely follow the same "taste category" of what you were after.
One could extend this by pointing the user to supermarkets that then sell these more plant based options.
Users will have the opportunity to generate new input (we d make it easy for them to insert a recipy or product)
other examples:
Who are the stakeholders? While not everyone wants to go vegan or vegetarian a lot of people are interested in plant based alternatives but do not know how to cater for their own "cravings" and what alternatives would match.
Who would this benefit? Who would be affected by it? everyone with an interest in eating more plant based
What is currently being done to solve this problem? There currently are already lots of vegetarian apps out there but none that solves exactly this problem (as far as I know)
