Name Ako

Describe the problem you'd like to solve

Make learning physics (can be other subjects as well but for the sake of student project it can be just physics) easier and code-related. While going through the curriculum and studying different forces students will be able to use the web app to experiment more with forces virtually and just changing the variables in the functions. The idea will be that student can code physics and this will be visually displayed to them. So instead of only using paper and pencil to write answers on their papers students will also creative coding to learn more about the topics.

Who are the stakeholders?

It would benefit students in secondary school who are studying physics and also school teachers who can give creative homework to their students to understand certain concepts in physics. And obviously students who are gonna use the platform will be able to grasp the concepts of physics through programing and using simplified functions names will give them more time to experiment with numbers to see how one force might work in certain situation.

What is currently being done to solve this problem?

I think it would be surprisingly easy to make a REPL, i did some experiments/something similar in my spare time. Security is an issue but you could put the REPL in a sandboxed iframe element

I had something similar in mind but instead of going to a different webpage to do things, the app would keep your doings in your history or something similar. or sandbox can be incorporated as well with p5js and be part of the app.

I really like the p5.js library! I would be really interested in working on an educational tool that can teach music tech as well. This would be a great platform to do so.

cool....sounds like some animation. can we make it maths and physics and music >.< ... :D (i.e. my 3 favourite things .... perhaps also throw in some poetry)
