How I get my best work done:

I like to hyperfixate on a task and lock in until it's done. I can have issues with sensory overload but most of the time it's not a problem. I love team-based tasks and working with others to achieve a goal.

The role I usually take in a team:

I like to build relationships and help others. If I have more experience in something then I am happy to take the lead, however I also love learning from others and support those around me while learning new things.

My communication style:

I am fairly extroverted and can have a tendency to info-dump / over-share / yap.

What I value:

Kindness, friendship and adventure.

What people misunderstand about me:

Those close to me know that I just love knowledge and learning and communicating, but it can sometimes seem like I am trying to 'prove' that I 'know more' about something than the person I am speaking with. Please understand that this is not the case, I just love exploring stuff with people.

How I like to get my feedback:

I think you can be pretty open and honest with me. I like an open communication style where everyone is communicating with kindness which tries to make sure that people aren't offending by negative feedback. This ensures that even if feedback is harsh, it comes from a good, supportive and constructive place.

Technical strengths & weaknesses:

I have been learning to code (on and off) since 2021 so feel I have a solid understanding of the basics of JavaScript. I have also learned the basics of React and built projects involving Node, Webpack, NextJS and other technologies but I don't have a solid grasp on these at all!! Computer science concepts are definitely a weak point, and I have a tendency to jumping straight into coding something without planning it first. I am hoping to become a less erratic coder!!

Interests (programming or otherwise!):

Rock climbing, travelling, history, movies and cooking :)

I'm gonna need to vampire your React/NextJS knowledge, as I ain't touched them at all. You've also been coding longer than me, so you're now Chief of the FAC30 Goblins
