Doesn't block Facebook's mid-video ads #72

It either could before or there were none before, but since a few weeks ago these ads have been surfacing, for me at least. I also have uBlock installed.

Sorry I don't think this is in a scope of this extension.

What I mean is that it would be a significant new feature if we were to implement a block for this.

@tiratatp would you consider leaving the issue open in case anyone is ready to take up the challenge?

I agree it involves significant research and work, but the solution might be simple and the resulting feature would fit perfectly with the scope of that extension, knowing that it blocks facebook ads

Please please make this a thing i downloaded like 8 adblockers none of them even block mid video it would mean the world to us if not please recommend something that works

I haven't been able to finish a single video lately..... just about all of them suddenly have a mid-roll ad

I think I might have the opposite problem 😅 I will watch a video on Facebook, and when the ads start playing, the whole video gets removed so I never get to finish the video.

I am not sure what the solution should be in this case (like should we fast forward to the end of the ads and resume the video? is that even possible?) but just thought I'd mention it here. 😃
