Custom data should be visible at different zoom levels #1019

Open jjiglesiasg opened 1 year ago

Description

In ID if you choose Custom data (Nodes for example with data), those are depicted as a Magenta Circle that could be seen at quite different zoom levels, including levels that do not allow any map edition. But help a lot for localization.

In Rapid you choose the same Custom data and you get the light blue solid node, the problem is if you zoom out you quickly lost the node viewing.

It could be quite helpfull if Rapid mimic ID so zooming do not affect the viewing of the custom data localization.

Oh yeah I have run into this too. The issue is that all nodes are just removed below a certain zoom, and what we should really do is prioritize which ones we show. It's kind of related to #557

It is possible to work on this issue? In ID you can see the custom data well above the 1000 ft view high. This data are NOT supposed to be in the map just overlapped or floating.

The issue is open more than 1 year ago.
