The system table engine will be governed by the same variable, and its old name did not reflect that.

Obviously this conflicts with all the other open DDSE PRs and it (and they) will have to be rebased after PR merges

Rebased on 8.0.32. By necessity it includes the changes of https://github.com/facebook/mysql-5.6/pull/1398 too
