There are no specific reproduction steps for this crash as this happens in production but as per our analytics we see this happens during a react-native bridge call from the JS layer to native.
@satheeshwaran Did you manage to figure out the cause?
Also experiencing this in production without any clear causes (happens apparently random)
Any ideas?
Based on my experience with such logs in production this closely revolves around the code in NativeModules even though the logs don't exactly point to the same. You can check out your Native modules for any possible exceptions that might not been handle correctly.
Hi, We are also experiencing this crash on out latest production build. We are 0.61.4 react0native version. From the crash logs it is not clear of the line/file of code responsible for this crash. Any clues on how to fix this issue?
I have a similar issue, anyone found a way to identify the problem?
I have similar problem, did you manage to find solution? App works when testing, but once I load it on production it creashes.
I have the same issue, any updates?
Would be grateful for help! Best, A
I have the same problem when I open and close ReactNativeCamera, It could also be the fact that I change the screen orientation doing so. I keep tracking the problem.
Having the same problem on RN 0.63.4. The app crashes when it was still running in the foreground and device screen got locked and then unlocked. I updated project RN version to 0.64.2, which fixed this error, however now the app opens and is unresponsive, after a moment it crashes. This time with an Our of memory
error
Any updates on this issue? I am having the same problem on 0.64.2. The app randomly stops responding for any event (except scroll in a scroll view) and eventually crashes.
EXC_BREAKPOINT: Exception 6, Code 2732533972, Subcode 8
facebook::react::JSIExecutor::defaultTimeoutInvoker
Happening to our app, react-native: 0.64.1
Reproducing it when the app is being brought from the background (if you use it for a long period of time). Did someone find a solution? RN 0.66 + Hermes. It didn't happen before until we enabled Hermes
Freeze happened on our application because of swipe back action from react-navigation. Issue even was not in react-navigation but in react-native-screens.
@yarikpwnzer are you sure the problem is in react-native-screens? Did you try to disable it, to check if this bug isn't happening anymore?
@trizerr yes, after disabling react-native-screens freeze (crash after freeze) was fixed.
@yarikpwnzer What version of react-native-screens has been fixed?
we still have this issue without enabling react-native-screen freeze feature
any update on that? there is any react-native-screens version for without crash?
Happening to our app, react-native: 0.64.2, react-native-screens:2.18.1
Still happening in 0.72.1, but I think it's related to heavy memory usage (or even oom) in my case
