Importing products to FB - problem #102

Hi there,

I installed the Facebook Business Extension yesterday, added the FB page and the Pixel, however the sync only imported 600 of the oldest out of stock products to my FB business, when it even states that I have 4000 in the Magento inventory.

When I go to run the product import to FB again and click fetch now, the circle just continues to spin and doesn't seem to do anything. Stuck on "Your products are importing: Step 1 - Generating Feed File".

Please can someone advise.

Many thanks

Hello,

Thanks for reporting this issue. Could you try entering Debug Mode? If you have the newest version of the plugin it should be under Advanced Options. This Debug Mode will have some log files that you should be able to access and look at. In particular the log files for the feed should be interesting and give some insight into what the problem may be. Could you paste those here or email it to us at ads_extension_woocommerce@fb.com ?

While you're at it I would recommend looking at all the other log files to see if there is some oddity (like an exception or stack trace), that could give us a clue as well.

Without knowing any details I suspect a memory issue similar to #17 , but can't be sure until we see the logs.

Hi Dmitri,

Thankyou very much for your response, I have attached the debug feed log for you now. fbplugin_feedlog.txt

Looks to me like it may be timing out, as the generation takes slightly under 60 seconds then stops mysteriously, the memory usage is fine so it's not a memory leak. Does it always import slightly 600, or does it change every time? If you paste your store ID we can take a look... but if it's a slightly different # every time, it's probably due to timeout.

This is server dependent so you'd have to find where you have set PHP max execution time and change that and try again. Sometimes there are multiple places where you need to change this. (PHP settings and webserver settings) unfortunately we can't help you with this too much since every server is different... I recommend using google to try and figure out how to change it.

Hi @dmitridr

I installed the Pixel and it's only showing 700 of my earliest products, while it states that I have over 1,500. Attached you'll see two screenshots showing this.

My store ID is: 646392212424391

Do you know why is this happening?

Thanks a lot
