Is this an access token issue or something else? Can someone help out? My ID is confirmed too.

Do we need to give any specific permissions? I tried ads_read and ads_management.

This looks like your ID confirmation might not have gone through? Try double checking Facebook.com/ID (found from the Ad Library API home page).

The requirement is documented in the ad library api page. (https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/api)

You issue seems to be an access token issue.

are you able to make a successful query in this UI tool? https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/

If yes, then you can copy that access token. If not, then double check steps mentioned in the ad library api page.

If the issue still exists, probably submit a bug report to the https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/
