2 years ago There were 2 tracks at the MDX challenge, Track A with no extra training data allowed (same dataset for everyone), and Track B with private training data allowed. Hybrid Demucs won Track A and finished second at track B. Audioshake won only the track B. So we can both claim at winning the challenge and its not like one track is more important than the other.
Besides Audioshake did not respect the rules of the contest of releasing their models and code, and while they lead leaderboard B, they were disqualified from the final ranking as is made clear from the winner's page: https://www.aicrowd.com/challenges/music-demixing-challenge-ismir-2021/winners

(Please ask your question here.) Hi, I have seen in numerous papers and repos that demucs v3(hybrid) is the architecture that win the Sony remixing challenge. After some research, it appears that the company Audioshake actually won the challenge. There doesn’t seem to be a paper, but I did find a patent associated which seems to lead me to believe they use a spectrogram only based method. https://uspto.report/patent/app/20210035590
Are you in affiliation with audioshake/this patent ? If not then why is demucs stated as the winner when this says other wise ?
