why fairseq2 and has fairseq been deprecated? #156

dosn't work on python 3.11
no commit for months what do you think?

Hi @npuichigo, for the time-being we haven't officially deprecated fairseq, but, as you might have guessed, we plan to do so in the near future once we reach feature-parity in fairseq2 (certainly in 2024). Besides KTLO tasks and major bug fixes we do not really put any engineering resources to fairseq anymore.

@cbalioglu thanks, and what's the main difference, maybe related to design principle, between v1 and v2?
