I've tried it a dozen times already, and it stops between 5-17GB.

That sucks, I'm quite sorry! While we work this out, we do provide all the scripts to actually build the dataset yourself from Waymo motion files so you could try that if it unblocks you

The problem is solved with the "wget" command.
