Tuesday, October 8th:

Completed Tasks:

Sahar:

• Finalized project setup and fixed deployment bugs (blocker).
  • added a node.js server to heroku that serves the react app.
  • added heroku-post build script.
  • fixed start script to point at node properly.
• Added brief description about attention training to the readme.

  Nadeen:

• Finished Link component (common/shared component).

• Added figma link to the readme.

  Yousef:

• Added back icon (shared component).

• Helped team members with prettier configuration.

  Todo:

  • Implementing progress bar component.

  Nadeen:

  • Working on the landing page.

  Yousef:

  • Working on the Card component (wrapper for quiz and quiz instructions).

Challenges:

• How styled components work and how they're abstracted. Went well with feedback but slowed the progress a little.

No blockers for today.

Wednesday, October 9th:

Sahar:

• Finished working on the progress bar component (pending review).

  Nadeen:

• Worked on the Landing page view. Mobile view is mostly done. Small issues are to be dealt with.

Yousef:

• Worked on the Quiz Card component.

Blockers:

• Implementing custom fonts of typeface otf. Might need a woff type instead.
• Implementing the wavy border of the image in the landing page.
• For the moment we are using custom fonts and doing a simple arc shape.
  • Farah will try to figure the fontface issue out.
  • Students will implement the wavy shape using the before and after pseudo elements in a different PR at a later point (low priority).

• Made some fixes to the responsiveness issues.

• Finished working on the responsiveness issues with the desktop view.
  • Very minor issues remain, will fix before the handover.
  • Waiting for feedback from the P.O before any more breakpoints are added.

Bugs we are aware of:

• We are still not using the custom fonts (I have opened a small pr to demonstrate how to do it with one of the 3 font weights. Will not be an issue for the students).
• Minor UI bugs (has to do with the height of some divs).
