[Question] Expand folders to show individual feeds? #105

Some screenshots make me think that it's possible to open / close folders to see individual feeds. Also, there's a 2nd zone in bottom left where we can individual feeds: are these favorite feeds? folder-less feeds?

How can I enable / use these options? Thanks!

This is a feature I decided to remove because I wasn't using it much. I find keyboard search to be more effective to jump to a feed.

(Once the number of feeds grow, you only get to show a subset in the sidebar, and you need to apply some logic to decide which ones. I often had to double check to see if the feed I wanted to see was there and fallback to search, which felt off.)

I guess that feature would be more convenient if you explicitly selected in the feed form whether you want a shortcut for it or not.

I understand.

My use-case is that I have a few "must-read" feeds, but they're about very different topics, so I prefer to check each ones individually rather than grouping them all in the same folder. At the same time, I'd rather not create a group for each individual "must-read" feed as it will clutter the list.

Maybe having the ability to "favorite" a feed, e.g. to list it in the bottom left like in your screenshot, would be enough. I guess that's pretty close to what you're saying:

if you explicitly selected in the feed form whether you want a shortcut for it or not.
