try to reduce the effect like http://openweathermap.org/Maps

This may be not possible when using Google Maps as Base Layer. Refer to https://github.com/openlayers/openlayers/issues/618 and https://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2189

Is still possible to disable google animation but the effect is worst with a "white" flash when zooming.

Ribadisco quanto scritto sopra aggiungo che inoltre con lo sfondo OSM pare che in effetti questo effetti non ci sia più. Anche l'esempio fornito infatti usa sfondi Open Street Maps.
