The original Google Refine codebase includes the Apache 2.0 license in LICENSE.txt
before listing the external licenses, but has been removed in the initial commit to this repository.
@fadmaa Could we prevail upon you to take a few minutes and add a brief license statement? I know it's been years since you've thought about this repo! I don't know if DERI claims/claimed any ownership or this is all your personal copyright, but it would be really helpful to downstream forks and re-packagers if you'd clarify the license. Thanks!
@zgramana That's an entirely separate code base which has nothing to do with this one (and a random copy of it at that). OpenRefine is the lineal descendant of Google Refine and the equivalent commit there is https://github.com/OpenRefine/OpenRefine/commit/7401552667a8fb6148c196c0f19a0643ec5fc4b0.
The initial commit here is https://github.com/fadmaa/grefine-rdf-extension/commit/00beca03a7c9ccc6d93f8e5f7dec61ce87a7f770 and it includes no license.
Hopefully Fadi will clarify things, but the documentation site at DERI consistently mentioned the BSD 2-clause license, which could be taken as a hint as to their intent for licensing.
Hello, added a sentence to the readme doc ... hopefully it's sufficient but let me know if not
The LICENSE.txt file lists the licenses for various components used by this OpenRefine extension, and it points to the "licenses" directory for information about those licenses. But nowhere do I see license information for the grefine-rdf-extension itself. Can you please add it, or somehow clarify what it is?
