How to clear cache of predefined vocabularies

Editing the file

extensions/rdf-extension/module/MOD-INF/classes/org/deri/grefine/rdf/vocab/imp/predefined_vocabularies.tsv

and removing the file

[data-dir]/cache/rdfExtension/export/vocabularies_meta.json

and the files in

[data-dir]/cache/rdfExtension/export/luceneIndex/

seems to clear the index of predefined vocabularies.

Is this the proper way change the predefined vocabularies?
