Skip Network Startup? #1

First, thanks to everyone who has contributed to the branch off of this
project. :D

I would just like to suggest that in the future, you add a config option to
skip the network startup when loading the program since not everyone uses
it and it drastically increases the loading time when no network is present.

You could have a separate option for the samba support as well, since some
people will want to listen to radio but do not have nor want to have a
samba share setup and would probably want to skip that step in the loading
process while still being able to use the net for radio streams.

Once again, thanks everyone. I am really enjoying and appreciating this.

Yeah I understand, the only way for now is removing the smb.conf if their is
one in
the folder....
Also it tries to initialize a Network, and if their isn't one it takes allot
longer
to boot MPlayerCE up....
We will work on that, as I understand it's a pain for non Connection users, etc
or
for those who want to skip initializing network etc..

Thanks for quick reply. I will do as you suggest and delete the samba conf for
the
time being. :)

I'm pleased to report back that it loads up just fine (nice and fast now),
though you
did accidentally include a thumbs.db file in the archive. You may want to
enable the
display of hidden files in explorer. ;D heh

As for the different loop.avi, it is awesome. But! It does flicker black for
an
instant (presumably when it gets to the end and replays).

Oh and I noticed the widescreen aspect setting was added to mplayer.conf, which
is
different than yesterday's official release. Not that I am complaining since I
would
have added it myself anyway.

Thanks! I'm sure others will appreciate having this interim build.
