DVD-movies lags. #17

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Playing a DVD-movie with Mplayer CE.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A smooth video playback is expected, but instead it lags and suffers from 
irritating "framedrops".

What version of the product are you using?

v0.1.

Please provide any additional information below.

PAL Wii, 
System menu 3.3E, 
Homebrew Channel 1.0.1

Have you tried v0.2? 
or have you compared it to MPlayerDVDEdition by team twiizers?
Some DVD's are expected to be buggy "dvd-video"

The official MPlayerDVDEdition by team twiizers have exactly the same problem.

I think that finnally I've improve code enough to drop less frames.

It looks to me like a problem with the MPEG decoding from my own experience 
trying to
play a DVD.

versions 6 and 6.1 for me has the same problem. version 5 works without this 
problem.

any updates on DVD playback? iv'e tried a good few myself and s has a few 
people i talk 
with and haven't had any problems other than pausing for too long may cause 
move to 
stop and need remounting.

I don't experience any problems with DVD playback anymore, it seems to be fixed 
somehow. ;-) I'm on v0.71.
