Readme does not sound serious #5

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download Mplayer_CE
2. Open the archive
3. Open the !!!!!!!!!!!!!readme!!!!!!!!.txt file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect a ReadMe.txt or Readme.txt or just README file without
thousands of exclamation marks and periods like !!!***Enjoy***!!!; hard
drive....; apply!!!; like mine......; like this.... and without sentences
like "windows is more user friendly" such things can only come from people
who don't know linux.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v.0.1

Forgot to say that new users may would like to see which key does what in your
player. Not everyone used a Mplayer port before.

I can understand you, but too many people question all the time, and the info
is in
the readme, the next update will be much more serious, as many people should
know by
now, never proceed to do anything without reading a readme.
Yeah your'e right regarding the "Windows is more user friendly" It sound a load
of
rubbish.....but it remains a Fact.
I just ain't going into detail on how to setup SMB for Linux users, I have set
it up
myself on Linux Ubuntu, and XP is by far most stable.

I wrote a readmore with further info about config files etc. It will be
included in
the next pack, but until now, http://pastie.org/390720.

That is a superb explanation on MPlayerCE's source.....other users shouldn't go
wrong
in compiling.

Two things that shows that you don't know much about SMB and linux.
You are using Ubuntu and you say that XP is more stable than a linux system (if
you
configure it right a linux box runs many years without a restart or crash, try
this
iwth XP :p). And why is it invalid? Maybe fixed in next revision, but Invalid?

Exactly you agree, I do know about Linux Ubuntu, I just don't have use for it,
I have
dual boot to it, but I don't need it, and (SMB is poor on it to the wii)*
*you even said so*
Check the Readme now.
