What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I installed VLC-shares, and I configured the application following the
installations tips, but I always get the error :
[FFF] (X_VlcShares_Plugins_RedirectControls::gen_beforePageBuild:43) No vlc instance. please help me, i dont know what im doing wrong

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Im using vlc-shares 0.5 stable version, win 7, VLC 1.1.4

"No vlc instance" isn't a real fatal error. You can ignore that notice if
vlc-shares works.

This problem is solved in 0.5.1

Do you set vlc path correctly? What kind of file are you trying to stream? To
android phones or to wiimc?

I got the message "VLC path is valid" after the system tests. I tried with
different files .avi, .mp4, on the wiimc and PC, none of them works. what else
can i try?

You have to be sure to add "vlc.exe" to the vlc-path. The complete path must be
(for example) c:\program files\VideoLan\vlc\vlc.exe.

The vlc-path test check only if a path exists, if you set the path to
"c:\program files\VideoLan\vlc\" only, the test will give the "valid" message,
but vlc will not be executed.

Also, be sure that apache server has the rights to read and execute the vlc.exe
file.

Please, try last SVN revision if you know how to do. Maybe your problem is
related with PsExec and long arguments

there was an apache's error. I had installed VLC-Shares in the manual way with
another apache server, but I reinstalled using the automatic installer, and now
it's working.
thanks for your support and VLC-Shares, Ximarx.
