What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Ubuntu 10.10
2. Using automatic installation procedure
3.cluch "start installation from /localhost/vlc-shares/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should get configuration page, get 404 error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Execute steps 10 and 11 of

then restart apache with

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
