I checked. No it doesn't work in the newest revision either.
I have two wiiflow.ini one is located on the SD card in the folder wiiflow and
the
other is located on the USB-HDD in the folder wiiflow.
The ini File on the USB has every settings (game concerning, global settings
etc.).
The ini File on the SD Card has no special or game concerning settings just the
comment "data_on_usb=yes" and the standard settings.
If I delete the folder and the ini file on the SD Card, the wiiflow.ini on the
USB
HDD won't be recognized. But if I hold the wiiflow.ini on the SD Card all
settings
can be read from the wiiflow.ini file on the USB HDD.
That's the issue so far. ^^

Update: you are totally right! I didn't have this problem, because my directory
is in
/apps/wiiflow, and not in /wiiflow. Which is the bug, actually, it doesn't check
/wiiflow anymore on USB, since it already tried that on SD.
Anyway, it will be fixed in r44.
