What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Flash-VideoIO With Red5 To Record Stream.
2. Frames Dropping Randomly AT Any Setting, Even At
cameraQuality=0&cameraBandwidth=0.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected a proper video without any frame drops. Too many frame drops here!
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
VideoIO45.swf, Red5 0.8, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 Server Edition
Please provide any additional information below.
We've successfully used Flash-VideoIO in our project. It's basically for
recording visitor's messages.
Initially we ran it on a home PC with a 1Mbps line. And at
cameraQuality=100,cameraFPS=15,cameraDimension=480x270 we were able to record
good quality videos from different parts of the world including US and India.
No frame drops here.
But, 3 days ago we shifted to a dedicated server, and are experiencing huge
frame losses at any settings, even at cameraQuality=0&cameraBandwidth=0.
Both configurations below:
Home PC:
Windows 7
Intel i3 @ 3.2 Ghz
2GB DDR3 RAM
Red5 0.8
VideoIO11.swf
1Mbps Down/512Kbps Up
Dedicated Server:
Intel E1240-V2 3.4GHz CPU
32GB ECC 1333MHz RAM
1 x 120GB SSD 10TB
100Mbps Dedicated Port
