new version deleted sleep history except for one day :(

What version of ElectricSleep are you using?
The latest download/donate version

On what android device and android version?
Samsung Galaxy S

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening the Program
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see my sleep history of months of carefully collected data, 
comments and dreams.  Instead I only see statistics from one day in June and a 
log I wrote that morning.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am excited to use the new version, but off to a bad start seeing as the 
program seems to have eleted most of my history.  Please tell me I can restore 
it somehow!

If you were upgrading from a version prior to 0.7.0 (latest in market), it is 
likely that I changed the format between beta versions, and as such your sleep 
data was wiped, and for that I am deeply sorry. This was a design choice 
because older beta versions were poorly thought out and could not really be 
scaled up.

0.7.0 has been out since February, however... I'm not sure how you escaped 
updates for so long! I see you said you're using the "latest download/donate 
version". If you recently donated and were using the "Beta" version, then you 
may not be out of luck. If you have any more background information, I may be 
able to help.

I guess I can live with that then.  Is there any way to archive my sleep logs 
from the beta version?  I would really like to keep those somehow, if possible.

The donate version is currently identical in functionality to the beta version. 
It was my intention to only update the donate version, but I dropped the ball 
and haven't updated either officially for half a year.

My recommendation is to continue using the Beta version as you had before, but 
also to keep the donate version. I'm working on a new version that will arrive 
as an update to the beta version. It will have ads, but if you have the donate 
version installed, they will not appear.

Ok.  That sounds good to me.  Is there a way you can notify me when it is 
possible for my data to transfer to the new version so I can switch to it at 
that time?  Thanks again for your help!

Well, if you enable automatic updating in the market, you should get the update 
shortly after it is available. If you got it by other means, I can *try* to 
remember to post here, but it is difficult to keep track of little things like 
this, I think you can understand ;)
