new-line within msg #416

I believe this issue to be related to Defect #409, but my question is:

"How do I get a new-line while typing a msg?"

The CR-LF key (or Enter) always reacts by sending the message, instead of 
moving the input cursor to a new line.

Please make this a standard or configurable feature.

I apologize if this functionality already exists, but i could not find it 
online.
