What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Options used:
Language: English UK
Tick these options:
Quick fixes, Show suggestions, Auto-complete
Suggested punctuation (default): !?,'":;()-/@_
2. Inside a chat window (like whatsapp) type: Great :)

Expected:
The following text should remain intact
Great :)

Actual outcome:
Great: )

Hackers keyboard: 1.37.1419
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 I9305
Language: English UK
KB Layout: 4 row Gingerbread layout
Android: 4.4.4
OS: CyanogenMod 11 20150125
