Channel change sequencing #51

Guys What is the proper sequence to change channel mask ?

Doing

I've lost most of my devices. How to make devices to "follow" new selected channel ?

The procedure on last firmware version is just doing set channel mask. Don't need to start network again. For devices, some are capable to follow the new channel automatically but not all. with some devices, you have to re-pair manually

Ok thanks. To be compliant with all FW I assume that (re)starting network twice is not an issue. Let me know if not the case.

For devices following channel change, I was expecting Profalux ones to follow but.. sounds not the case.

Anyway, thanks for feedback.

@tcharp38 do you have a sniff showing that the Profalux doesn't switch to the new channel after a Management Network Update Request

Command 0x004A in Zigate

Hello @pipiche38 No, no sniff so far. I've just noticed this behavior. Who is generating this "management network update" ? Zigate by itself ? Or Zigate on plugin request ?

Zigate, this is a standard zigbee ZDO commands, you might try to do it on RAW mode
