thanks very much for your told. i hope arch commity, ly official, or pyphon-ly can solve this simple conflict.
This has nothing to do with the AUR or Arch Linux. This is simply an unfortunate choice of name which conflicted with an existing project that is now over 14 years old (that project started some time in 2008).
@nullgemm I would strongly suggest renaming the binary (to e.g. something like lydm
) so that it doesn't conflict with the well-established project.
in arch distro, ly install the executable binary 'ly' is conflict with pyhon-ly. they both use the executable binary name 'ly'. who is the first to use the name?
